Elements Of Home Staging
Essential components of houses we love
White
Fresh white porcelain, upholstered furniture in clean white duck fabric, painted white bookcases and a stack of cozy white towels add a clean fresh touch to any home. White is pure, simple, fresh and very powerful. It is the magic that makes everything look and feel new.
Silver & Gold
The infusion of Silver and Gold elements invokes luxury and elegance. These elements compliment a room that boasts wood and architecture. Shine serves as the cufflink to the suit. Gold lamps, mirrors, and tables add pizzazz.
Wood
Warm wood elements create the look and feel of an old oak tree. Armoires, cane-back chairs, and ceiling beams offer contrast and character to a space. Moldings impart a sense of timelessness and character.
Green
Boxwood and ferns create a neat and pruned look. Foliage inside can be as simple as a big vase of something green to soften the edges os a room or a bowl of Granny Smith apples. When a home is on the market, the best smell is fresh cut grass.
Natural
The texture and style of natural rugs like jute or sisal bring dimension and defines classic style. American folk art, old painted signs, or recycled burlap fabric create a rustic look. Nature offers an abundance of styling tools.
Glass & Mirrors
Transparency of glass creates volume and space. They expand the proportion of a room. Mirrors can draw the eye up and elongate a space. They add texture and relief to upholstery. Mirrors can be fun or ornamental and provide art to a wall without adding color.
The Unexpected
Ginger jars, blue pottery, and toile fabric are favorites to remind us of history heritage and heirlooms. Make room for your personality to stand out. Style should be fun and make someone smile.
“When I decided to sell my rental property in Baltimore City, I knew I would have to do quite a bit of work before putting it on the market. I also knew I wanted to have the house staged as my research showed that staged houses sell quicker and for a better sales price. I contacted 4 home staging companies in Baltimore and set up appointments to meet with them. Of the 4 companies that responded Classic Home Group was the most responsive to what I was trying to achieve and also turned out to be most helpful in ways I did not expect.

My tenants had been real hard on the house and I discovered that it was badly in need of a paint job. Susan and her staff got the painters in record time and they did a fantastic job. I was able to draw on their expertise in regards to many of the esthetic decisions that had to be made over the course of the house refresh.

Throughout the process they were professional, very responsive and a true pleasure to deal with – no matter when I contacted them, they got right back to me very quickly. After completing the painting and cleanup, they brought in just the right furniture and accessories to show the house off in its best light.

I am so very happy that I found them and highly recommend them to anyone in need of help selling their home. Thank you so much to all of you at Classic home Group!”
